About us

Apex Business Academy

Apex Business Academy proudly stands today as the most sought after secondary and tertiary education provider in Southern Sri Lanka. For nearly two decades, Apex has been revolutionary in its unique contribution towards education in the Down South. Very importantly, Apex has always promoted a rich culture of education, based on good values, despite being a profit-oriented private entity.  Apex introduced CIMA – globally the best qualification for management accountancy, for the first time ever in the Southern Province in 2007, marking a milestone in the professional education in the South. We take pride in our brilliant and award winning lecturer panel who gives our students the best of knowledge and exposure at Apex.

Continuing its passion for innovation, Apex launched an online learning platform called Apex Bellcube, the first of its kind in the history of CIMA from a private institute. This platform enables students to interact with lecturers and fellow students even outside the classroom; Apex Bellcube has immensely helped our students to transition into the CIMA new syllabus.

Our journey since the inception of the institute has been one of the fruitful efforts and duly deserved success in developing knowledge, skills and attitude of our students.  Apex has championed in producing all- rounded, well balanced, professionally qualified individuals stretching their potentials beyond a degree qualification, to cater to the requirements of the competitive corporate sector.

Apex initiated yet another innovation when it partnered with British Council to bring this most-reputed English language educator to the South. Apex Business Academy is the only local partner for British Council in Sri Lanka since 2014.

The secret behind our success is the superior quality of service, and our attention to detail. Our carefully crafted teaching methods, a mix of traditional and modern systems, coupled with our talented and committed staff has helped in shaping our students’ future into one of great success.

In its next most notable move, Apex Business Academy has set up its third branch in Colombo, expanding its CIMA education to the Western Province. Apex continues committed to the cause of education, and is constantly on the lookout for ways to help the young generation reach their highest potential.

A warm welcome to the Apex Business Academy!

It is with great pleasure that I pen this message to the Apex Business Academy website. With over 18 years of experience in the field of education, Apex has created a brand for itself as the trendsetter in the education of Southern Province, upholding the Best Teaching Traditions. Our sister organization Apex Education Centre is home to a student population of over 5,000 annually, helping them in their educational goals. We took an innovative move 8 years back by introducing the professional qualification – CIMA – to the Southern Province, the very first time this prestigious qualification was ever brought to the South. Over the past years we have touched and reshaped the lives of many youth of Southern Sri Lanka, helping them in their aspirations, not just educationally, but also professionally and socially.

Setting another milestone in Southern Education, we became the only local partner teaching centre for British Council since 2014, catering to the dire need of quality English Education in Southern Region. More over Apex become the 1st CIMA tuition provider to introduce an online learning portal –  Apex Bellcube, enabling our students to learn  and share knowledge 24/7 from wherever they are located.

We firmly believe in providing our students with the best facilities for education. Our motto ‘Global Standards at Home’ indicates our passion to ensuring that our Southern youngsters are treated with the best in the world in the comfort of their home town. The activities we organize for our students outside the lecture halls like Career Guidance Sessions, Corporate Exposure, Personality Development programs help them not just to unleash their potential, but also to develop self-confidence and personality and leadership. With two global brands under Apex, we have opened up new career avenues for our youngsters, and help them succeed in their career ladder

Our efforts bore fruition in many ways – our students have become Associate members of CIMA, our students have obtained gainful employment in the private sector, and most importantly our students have won prizes at the global and national level, competing against students from all parts of the world, a happiness that we cherish with a hint of humble pride. Our world prize winning students show that with the right guidance of our lecturers, the world is their oyster!

Over the years, if we have proved one thing it is our commitment to excellence and resilience to any obstacle to achieving our objective. We look forward to many more years of pioneering success in a trend setting education in the Sri Lanka. With the excellent hard work of our valued staff members, we are committed to delivering the best in education for our next generation.
